Brian Willmott

I was born in the South of England in 1942 and moved to Newquay in Cornwall when I was seven. It was there that I developed the two main interests which I still follow to this day: sea angling and reading Science Fiction.

MY favourite modern writer is Anne McCaffrey.

I spent twelve years in the Royal Air Force Police before going into retail sales as a sales assistant/manager in the early seventies.

After being made redundant in 1993, I had various jobs in the retail trade and in printing, all unfortunately short term. Now, however, I have a seasonal job where I work for about seven months of each year.

Three years ago I volunteered to assist in remedial classes for adults, and one of the other tutors talked me into writing a short story. Since then I have continued writing for my own satisfaction during the winter months.
