I was born, February 15, 1975, in Gunnison, Colorado, small town in the mountains. Fast forward 27 years, through a childhood of skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, etc etc. Graduated, went to college to study computer science, graduated again, and started working off and on programming graphics and artificial intelligence for video games.

My only child is a cat. Unfortunately, the off and on work schedule means that sometimes I live in the back end of my pickup truck, not the most suitable home for a kitty. So he lives with his grandparents now.

My most evident (via self-examination) personal characteristic is that I lack the capacity for balance. I'm generally only devoting myself to one thing at a time. Work, rock climbing, drawing, now writing, traveling, sewing, reading, etc. When one of these things is in the front seat, everything else is just an annoying obligation. Only recently have I learned to exempt personal relationships from this cycle, and my life is the best it's been as a result.

Right now, writing is front and center. It fascinates me. And AFO is indispensable.
